8.1 Introduction

Small commercial plantings of elderberry are now being established in NYS. For information on cultural practices for elderberries, the following references are suggested:

Pesticides used for elderberries must be registered with the state and federal governments. Use Table 8.1.2 to determine legal pesticides, their brand names, and any restrictions that may apply. Products listed in this table include only those labeled for pests of concern in New York State.
